Coordinate timing

Practice the transitions so that one person's contribution gives the next person a clear cue.

Listen and adjust

Respond to what teammates add rather than following a plan that no longer fits.

Share the spotlight

Make sure the final result shows more than the most confident voices in the room.

Beyond the activity

What teams can take from the Movie Making session

The group's work in developing a script, sharing roles and making a team film turns individual ideas or actions into something others can experience. A facilitator-led debrief can explore how the team shared roles, adjusted timing and kept a common purpose in view.

Apply those observations to meetings and projects: make the goal easy to understand, let people contribute through their strengths and rehearse important transitions before the final moment.
